Zulu hour 0600. Time to kick-off and leave for the sunny climes of Cornwall to meet up with our closest and bestist friends the Hatch family Neil, Fenella, Thomas and Dominic |

Some 6 hours later we have arrived and set up camp. Note the trailer inside the gazebo it forms our table for cooking and also later serves as a good base to which I storm lashed our gazebo. This proved to be a master stroke on my part as after some strong winds and heavy rain it was the only one left standing |

And her they are the Hatch family Neil, Fenella, Thomas and Dominic enjoying a breakfast in their gazebo |
||
| And some 5 hours later it all went wrong, with a few big puffs of wind the mighty structure went to the dogs. It was all packed up returned to the shop for a full refund Some good did come out of this tragedy, the legs were used for a drying line |

Diane M3BMI about start up our portable station consisting of a SG-2020, SG-211 tuner and long wire supported from a 10 meter telescopic pole and as luck always seems to be on her side, she made the best contact with Dr P.K John VE3OGZ from Toronto Canada. Our location was IO70KI Goonhaven Cornwall |

Funny, when Fenella asked the boys what was the best part of their holiday they both answered Molly (our dog) and yet they went rock pooling, built sand castles and all the really exciting stuff |
