| My main
radio for portable radio is the SG-2020 made by the SGC company. It
delivers 20 watts power and is a very well constructed radio. I also use a
10 meter telescopic mast made by Walter Speith DK9SQ a must for portable
radio. From this one can hang a multitude of different aerial types.
Handset is an old army issue very good audio so I'm led to believe. Some
mods have been made to the set these include a small switch in the rear
panel to enable the speaker to be switched off when desired and 8 volts
have been added to pin 5 to enable me to drive a Signalink SL-1+ Soundcard
interface and a Kenwood mic. The mods are by Jochen Heilemann DG2IAQ and
